36ma Coppa Tito Nordio

35th “TITO NORDIO” CUP  Historical Event ISCYRA 
This is the 35th edition of the International "Coppa Tito Nordio”, established by the Council of USVI (former Italian Sailing Federation) on 20th March 1960, as perpetual Challange for the Star Class, and assigned to the Yacht Club Adriaco in memory of his Campion.
Tito Nordio sailed with Dinghy 12’ S.I. at the 1928 Olympic Games, finishing sixth. He was European I.Y.R.U Champion in 1935 and Star Class European Champion  in 1947.
After a break, in 1999 Franco de Denaro reorganized Trieste’s Fleet that today consists of 12 boats. The captain of the fleet is Guglielmo Danelon, Italian champion in 2015.
